2009 has indeed been a busy year for Catherine Britt. After taking home the coveted CMAA Female Artist of The Year Award in January she slipped quietly into the recording studio with Shane Nicholson and Bill Chambers to record her yet untitled forth album which will be released in 2010.

But before then Catherine will return to the Country Music Festival to play 2 very special shows.

On Sunday January 17^th Catherine and Band will take the stage at Blazes Auditorium for a show that will be the very first public outing of the material that will be included on her new album.

“I can’t wait for Tamworth! I’m so excited to play some of my new songs for my fans. My new album is the one thing I have been completely focused on throughout 2009 and to finally get to play the songs live is something I have been looking forward to all year”

Catherine will be supported by very special guest Abbie Cardwell.

Then on Thursday January 21^st Catherine will host the Catherine Britt Hillbilly Sessions at The Pub. It will be a night of special guests & laid back chaos and fun.
